Guess they might make a nice 'shuttle bus' or something, but I can't see a 'normal' (if there is such a thing) family having one.

Is this suppose to be the 21st Century version of the "Family Truckster"?

Looks like a van to me - hardly a NEW concept. Looks a lot like a 1954 Ford panel truck. Soon, they'll come out with a family station wagon and call it a NEW concept. Or perhaps, re-introduce the rumble seat and call that new.

do I hear third row seating.... rumble seat.... kids in the ol station wagon flipping you off on the highway as they go to grandmas in the back seat that faces out the back.... most concepts are NOT new. the gimmicky names are though!

We got a chance to see one at SEMA last year that was lightly customized. It looked sharp and if I was in the market for something like this it would be on the top of my list.

This is the smart of delivery vans, and the future of service vehicles.

Well they are here.

I saw 1 on every for lot I passed today. Just 1

Ford Transit Connect Commercial Fleet Van | Official Site of the Ford Transit Connect | FordVehicles.com

And the numbers are, 22 city, 25 Hwy. Definatly in time for a trade in from an old cargo van for cash for clunkers

Here's a link without all the flashplayer crud: Ford Transit Connect | Van, Wagon

Nice looking small van, good mpg numbers and not a bad price. Can't wait to see more new stuff from Ford.
