Not exactly,it will be an all new model based on the new Aveo but upgraded for the American market called the Viva.

I just read a disclaimer in the Envoy's manual

"...22% or more of this vehicle was made in Mexico..."

So much for a "domestic" vehicle.

The Pontiac G8 is actually just a rebadged BMW with fake hood vents!

Ahh... American cars built in the USA from parts from different countries.

P.S. The G3 and the Aveo look somewhat like a Fit to me
