Gold Porsche

Here is gold Porsche 911 Cabrio Turbo on the streets of Moscow. Titled and registered.


If you waking up every morning with just one thought: 'Where I should spend my next Million Dollars?'
Here is idea for you. Get yourself Porsche 911 Cabrio Turbo and cover it with huge amount of
inlaid plates made out of pure gold.
That lucky guy used 40lb of pure gold to cover his car.

I`m shocked, that he did not think about that!!!!!!

By the way if you noticed, car is NOT gold plated (gold added to the paint), but actual pure gold pieces attached to the body of the car....

CUBE, can you read Russian? Or have you found the story in English somewhere? If so, I would enjoy a link.

Might that say something about 18 karat? Where's the 40 pounds, arggg, I can't read it.
Well, based on your figures, the scrap gold would be worth ...
584 ounces X $829.90/ounce = $484,661.60
If it's "only" 18 karat, that would be $363,496.20 in scrap value alone. It is quite the spectacle in any case!

De gustibus non disputandum est. I could certainly think of classier things to do with both that amount of money and that quantity of gold. I hope this satisfies the owner's obvious need for attention.
