Gordon Murray T.25 City Car interior revealed

Here is the T25 layout. With the driver being in the middle, one could use it in countries with right hand drive and countries with left hand drive without having to change the vehicle?

the central driving position has been named ‘iCentre®’
Just when I was starting to like it, BAM, I saw that.

Aside from that, it would be weird to drive in the center of the car. Could be cool. But, iCentre? Argggg. They REALLY should reconsider that ®

I am confused...... is there some law against driving a right hand drive car here? Or driving one of ours somewhere that RHD is prevelant?

I don't think so, I know of a few guys with RHD cars that they've imported, or even converted by welding a different firewall in. Plus, the post office uses RHD subbies and jeeps regularly. Heck, if anything, those rural drivers with extended pedals but still reach from the passenger seat to steer the wheel should be illegal before RHD cars.

I have had a number of RHD cars over the years. My JZR from England is right hand drive and is currently registered here in Florida and used on dry days.

In the movie 'The Great Race', many of the vehicles were right hand drive. It was suppose to be the early days of automobiles. The setting for the race starts in the USA. I think it was based on the 1908 race from New York to Paris.

I don't think it is illegal but it might be confusing.

I drive my City Street Sweeper from the right side, it really comes very natural after a short while.

Why do all the people in that car have their legs stretched straight out?

I don't think it looks very comfortable.

Perhaps to show how much leg room it has. One does not have to stretch out ones leg when in the car.

I think it is more related to being able to build one design no matter where it is sold which reduces costs in material and production plant layout. Would take a bit of getting used to but likely no different than driving a right hand car in a left hand country...

Let's be careful out there,
Pops and Carlito
