I mentioned at the smart Roadshow to a smart salesguy that smart was not the first manufacturer to bring a small european rear engine car over that people said Americans would not buy. My analogy to VW was not well recieved.

Cory1000, Very nice collection of little cars ! My brother restored an Isetta a few years ago and I just came from the BMW museum in SC and they have 3 of them on display that looked like they've never been driven, just beautiful. My wife and I rented an Elise in Vegas back when they first came out, fun car and getting in and out will definately keep you limber and young. I also have a love affair with mid-engined cars, I'm on my second NSX and my wife and I agree that this one is a permenant part of the family. Enjoy your toys.

John Klaehn

PS Do you get the lotus serviced at the Bedford dealer, the service manager is Jim Ozello, a close friend of the family ?

Bedford is no longer a lotus dealer, they sold to MB of North Omstead a over a month ago. I took it to Bedford 1 time....wouldn't have taken it back there again...I just didnt care for how the car was treaded there..

NSX is hands down my favorite car, only car that I have wanted that I didnt own....yet!
