They still didn't need to do that. Plenty of old Fords they could of used instead.

Interesting comments. I just watched the copy here and didn't originally go to the YouTube site. Some people are dumb, they don't understand crumple zones built into car designs etc. The 2009 is far safer, not as stylish but much more comfortable and safe.
