Most makers (even the domestics) have come out with "their" version of the Scion xB body style, even if it is with a larger vehicle. It took about three years to do it, but they managed to catch (in their minds, at least) part of the "trend" of the boxy small vehicle with the "chopped" look on the roof.
The Chevy version is roughly the same size, but the Ford one that I have been seeing is a "full size" vehicle. The Cube and the concept vehicle above are just a couple more examples. None seem to have the same utility or cargo volume as the xB, but you don't know that unless you actually compare them "face to face" (even just looking at them at the auto show).
We have an xB (2008 model), and cannot be happier with it. We bought it as our "high mileage" vehicle originally, but ended up trading in our low mileage Sienna once we found out how versatile the thing was. We replaced the Sienna with our smart Passion and now the xB is the one that sits in the garage.
