Jet Powered Smart Fortwo?

Here is an article in the Popular Mechanics on a jet powered go kart. What would it look like or perform like if it (the jet engine) was used in a Smart Fortwo?

Not sure what it would look like, but I think it should be called the Smart Bomb.

There goes your gas milage. A 100 hp jet engine would burn 12+ gal a hour. They're using them in single place helicopters. The drawback of a jet is that it is always running at least 75% power. It would fit though. How about a land speed record for the Smart?

Yeah, but you wouldn't keep getting asked if it was electric...

With the jet engine running, one might not be able to hear the question.

Bet that bad boy would make more noise than a simple catback exhaust modification. And I really don't need to see the dyno graph as the hp increase would be literally off the chart!

Might have to upgrade the sound system?

If one could use bio-fuel with it, it would be one really lean mean green machine.
