"Kia says that the K9 will be equipped with an array of technological and safety features such as a latest generation, full-color heads-up display, full adaptive LED headlamps and a large 12.3-inches LCD screen for the infotainment system.
Furthermore, Kia revealed that the K9 will launch in South Korea this summer with two engine options, a 3.3-liter V6 rated at 296HP (300PS) and a 3.8-liter V6 producing 329HP (334PS)."

I'm sure it's just a code name and the car will get an actual "name" when it arrives.
actually domestically they named them K-5 and K-7, I guess the next size up would actually be K-9 (hung up on odd numbers?)

There hasn't been an original thought here since the 1700's and they shot him in the back with an arrow as he was running away. Or at least that's the way it seems. Lately they've been designing quite a few of them in the states (Irvine, CA) and the look considerably better. At least they had the sense to know what they do best (manufacture cheaply).

There was a time when the rear view of a certain Lexus model looked very much like a Mercedes. Hyundai/Kia have their sights set on the big boys, just as Lexus and Infiniti do. Criswell predicts they will be equally successful in the long run. The real question is where does that leave Cadillac and Lincoln?

it leaves them a target for more copying! Yeah, the Korean cars are just like Lexus, only cheaper
Or, Lexus, Infinity, etc. are like the Hyundai/Kia only more expensive. All in how one looks at it. Take a look at any of the luxury car forums for the same stories of things gone wrong one can find on any other car forum.
