For the Mustang fans...

2011 Shelby GT500 details released:

Quote:
Ford has unveiled the 2011 Shelby GT500, ahead of its official debut at the Chicago Auto Show.

Looking virtually identical to the 2010 model, the 2011 GT500 features an aluminum 5.4-liter V8 engine. Based on the 5.0-liter V8 found in the 2011 Mustang GT, the new engine has an additional 0.4-liters of displacement, an improved block structure, six-bolt billet main bearing caps, and a supercharger.

The post made me recall the last time I saw a "new" GT 500. The smart dealership that delivered mine also sells Fords at the same location. When the smart store opened up, I checked it out even though my car wasn't coming in for a couple of months.

I walked through the Ford showroom on the way back to my car, where there was a white GT 500 on the showroom floor. There was a little paper taped inside the window next to the window sticker. It read, "Market Value Adjustment- $40,000.00".

It handles like a dream in Forza 3. Mostly because they finally got rid of that Flintstones rear axle. The old 2007 GT500 just flopped about and drifted, no real cornering.

Not to mention the 07' GT500 didn't even have the HP that Shelby said it had (as proven by Top Gear )

The car you would want is the 2011 Shelby GT350 with the new 5.0 Coyote motor
