OK Its only the G3 (aveo) but to clear the lots of the Dead GM Brands GM is offering the dealers Big incentives to clear the lots by Jan 4.

Pontiac and Saturn Cars at Bargain Prices: Why Now | HULIQ

onsider this, GM is paying its dealers and salespeople for the remaining Pontiac and Saturn cars. GM will pay this money to its dealers if those two brands move from the lots by January 4 of 2010. This is the last day of December computable.

The Wall Street Journal has calculate this rebate and writes that this new policy implementation may reduce the car price by 46 percent. To facilitate the sales, dealers can move their cars from car lots to the segment (renting) or added to its fleet of zero miles.

A quick look at a Pontiac Dealer website shows that those car prices range from $15,000 to 29,000. If the dealers cut their prices accordingly and don't be greedy the consumers may be able to get a Pontiac 2009 G3 for $8,000 dollars. What if the dealers themselves eve further sweetened the deals. In this case consumers may get a brand new car for less than $8,000 dollars.

I was wondering if there were any Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky Roadsters left on the lots.

Oh who would want those, they only have 2 seats.

Guess you missed the GTO and G-8. The ONLY reason GM canned Pontiac and not Buick is that Buick's are built in China...........

Of course my comment about Pontiacs was Hyperbole (don't know if that's grammatically correct)...I liked the OLD GTO, the Bonnyville and the last Fiero... but inevitably I'd over the years I'd drive a friends Pontiacs and the main thing that troubled me was the lack of interior space (front wheel well intrusion mostly, and it did't seem to matter which variant of pontiac I drove. As far as a GM product that I really liked was the Oldsmobile.
Now aboot (I'm Canadian, eh) the Buick, I know that China seems to LOVE that car for some reason? I think it is one of the best in its class. Full size, reliable, simple, classic american interior layout (boring), consistent through the years and that is why every "blue haired granny and bald grandpa" up here drives a Buick Century. Inexpensive, uncomplicated and safe.
No facts here, just conjecture....
