Looks like they should talk to smart about licensing the tridion design.

although the passenger has announced plans to sue Tesla for injuries.

Geeze, I guess I should sue every car maker that I've been in an accident while driving!

Yea, isn't it strange that a driver is going 100kph (60mph) in the rain, hydroplanes and crashes; so it's the manufacturers fault!! Tesla Roadster gets crash tested at 100 kph. Passes! - AutoblogGreen

Why take responsibility for ones own driving when one can profit from blaming some one else? I think it is one of the reasons cars have the extra safety equipement and why they cost more.

Well it was a Tesla employee who was driving, so I'm sure it isn't about the car but is instead about the responsibility of the company to employ people who will demonstrate the cars in a safe manner. Since this was a one-car accident it's hard to blame anyone but the driver.
