I remember when gas dropped briefly into the 1.60s, I filled up (with a couple bars left) for less than $10. Ahhh, the good old days from 5 months ago...
My last fillup at Shell in Lacey, WA on 30 Apr was $2.599 for Premium; in Leavenworth last Sunday for the rally, I paid $2.659 for Premium at the Shell station there!
I filled up my little car at Shell yesterday and the price per gallon of premium was 2.299 dollars. This station is usually a little higher than the other gas stations in the area.
