Funny how it took an offical report before the press picked up on Gas prices haveing jumped about $ .35 in the past month. Like no reporter could figure that out for themselfs. So much for investigative reporting.

Good news, Still over a Buck less than last year at this time

Just avoid filling up in Chicago, its the highest in the nation. (did you get that anyone traveling to the summer rally, fill up in Indiana and you should have no problem getting to WI on that tank)

Nice find NCC1701, and 10 years after that report gas was about the same price. No wonder SUV's became popular.

As of 11 am regular was $2.29/ gal here; by 1 pm it's jumped to $2.45/gal

Must be a holiday weekend sometime soon.

My boss told me this AM that gas went down to $2.16 for Reg Unleaded. Cool! Unfortunately that wasn't what I saw when I went to lunch.......NOW it's more like $2.45 for Reg Unleaded, which would make Premium about $2.65!

But then again it IS "Memorial Day Weekend" , otherwise known as 'Lets Gouge the Out-of-Towners' weekend here in Central Indiana.

Makes me proud to be a Hoosier!
