R.I.P Yugo

I just read that the Yugo is ending production. I didn`t know they were still in business! I remember they even offered a cabrio just before they pulled the plug on the U.S market. I always thought it looked like a poor mans VW Rabbit.

The Yugo was a great concept... small, cheap, fuel efficient. Mostly cheap. Really, obviously, cheap. That was its undoing. It taught car makers a lesson or two in quality demands. The USA won't settle for Yugos or Ladas.

Wow...restoring a Yugo???? You've got kahoneys.

JUST KIDDING!! I know you were talking Bricklin. There used to be one that sat behind my dads auto parts store in the 80's. I never saw that car move. In fact, I've seen many Bricklins and never saw one actually moving.

psst, I know.........if I had spelled it right it would of been like cussing here on the forum which I won't do though I will use similar words . (in real life I say enough in one day to complete a lifetime of most people's foul language - but I'm getting better on cutting back)

and now back to our regularly scheduled Death of a Yugo thread.
