Pardon me... I sort of segwayed this because I forgot to throw in my part about looking at the xD.

I found its interior to be comparable to the xB. I did not take it out on the highway, but the engine did not feel as strong as the 2.4l (obviously - I wasn't expecting it to), but the whole car seemed sort of sapped of snap. Add the dreadful interior quality, and it made me walk the other way.

I started this thread because i was pi$$ed off that my Smart had been at the Houston North MB dealer since January 18th. They finally transferred it (after a lot of griping over the last 4 weeks) to Mb Smart Dealer in Sugarland Texas where I picked it up today, Finally. So I am happy.
Buy the Smart not the Scion.

Well, at least you got your car; what about everyone else with cars at that dealer? What's been the holdup (no pun intended)?

Waiting on approval by the State of texas and DOT approval and license to sell cars. One other person with a red and black cab. got transferred
