Speaking of the Citroën 2CV, a special exhibit in Paris marks its 60th birthday. Here is the story from the BBC:

It was originally destined as a cheap country round-around for farmers, designed to be able to carry four people (or sheep) and a basket of eggs across a ploughed field without breaking any shells... or indeed bones.

My wife was born in Paris and we have always kept an eye out for a 2CV. I always thought they were neat but the fact she likes them too made me check out each one....but never found more than major projects! I guess our Smarts will be our 2CV!
