Ok, this is getting a little irritating. Within the past 24 hours, I've been asked at least 3 times whether the smart is "that $2,000 car from India?" or "Those Indians are so talented. Can't believe they can make such a great car for $2,500."

Actually we prefer to be called American Indians, and would like to see the immigrants from India called either Indian Americans or Hindustani Americans.

That car is ugly! I wonder how much they paid the CEO of Ferrari to say he likes the car?
The Tata Nano is relatively nice for some one who can't afford any other car, from their point of view is a huge upgrade from a bicycle, moped, and other local vehicles.
Keep in mind it's not intended for "US WEALTHY AMERICAN INDIANS"
I don't think Americans are stupid at all. Some may be somewhat uninformed and some (like me) don't watch the news (too despressing) at all. As for running over toes, that's just not nice.
Instead, how about a nice big smile and a, "Nope, it's not. Have a great day!" Our cars smile at us and others, shouldn't we do the same?
