A FORMER Manchester United FC apprentice was caught drink-driving after winning a player of the year award.
Joe Ormond tried to sleep in his small Smart car after celebrating his award, but it was too uncomfortable and he decided to drive to his parents.

Ormond, 18, of Hampstead Close, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol.

"Drink driving"? "Driving with too much alcohol"? I try not to be a noodge about these things, but that grammar is the worst I've seen in a long time!

"Excess alcohol". See what happens when you try to put someone else down? You look like you stuck your foot in your own mouth!

I have took several 3-4 hour naps in my smart. You have two comfortable options. One you can fold the passenger seat down flat and then from the drivers seat use the folded down seat to lay your head on. Use a pillow and within 10-12 in you would be out cold sleeping away in confort. (Note you must be tired 1st)

Second option is to fold down the passenger seat and then lay you legs in the hatch trunk space area and lay your upper body top of the right passenger seat. (You will be in a "L" shape) I have not officialy tried this second option but I believe it will work.

*Since the car is in high demand I recommend you have your windows tinted before attempting this or you will awake with a potential crowd watching you sleep.

This guys mistake was in not having consumend the proper amounts of Guinness and Whiskey! A pint or two more and comfort would have not been an issue!!

Drink driving is the term they use in the U.K. It sounds strange to us, but they generally speak better English than we do.
