A concept will absolutely never make it if it's never introduced. You might be right that it never reaches mass appeal but if they can produce a product that sells enough to justify the effort, why not?

I have to admit though, if I saw it at an auto show I'd be interested. It's a chance that some auto makers have to make and it'll make or break them. To me it'll make a cool fuel saver to commute to and from school in.
Look at this, not bad! I like how it leans into curves...
Still I see only 2 major flaws with this vehicle.
2.5 ft width? I guessing that with a lighter passenger, that person would only have about 6-7 inches divided between both sides of the body and car. Not good if you have a body bigger than Dolly Parton...
Safety - Considering its smaller than smart size they should make a design that'll make it as safe as driving a smart. Because with my 30 second size figures, there's not really any space between you and the outside world. It's great as a city car but with performance numbers like those, this thing is screaming for the highway...
Bottom line... Great city car, 1+1 seater might grab attention, and if I could find out what keeps you in one piece it might be good for more than in the city like the smart has proven itself to be.
