Toyota IQ

My wife is recommending that I wait and get a Toyota IQ when it comes to the USA. Thoughts?

That IQ looks like a want-a be Smart Car.

I don't know anything about it beyond that. I'll have to get back to you

If someone puts in new springs and wheels to reduce that car's height, would it be called "Lowered IQ"?

As soon as I can get my hands on one, I'll have an IQ parked next to my Smart. I love the idea of the small size with Toyota reliability. But Toyota will manufacture the heck of them and in no time you'll see them at every intersection.

I like the IQ, and I may consider getting one when they come out.

I honestly love the size of both the smart and the IQ, but the IQ even though it does seat 3+1, I am not sure how the safety of the back passangers will be. You sit pretty far back in the smart to the back of the vehicle, but there is still "some" space between you and the back door. The IQ literally looks like the back door and the rear seats touch...any accidents and there is 0 room for the vehicle to lesson the blow...brings new meaning to riding b****

only time will tell if this car will pass the crash tests.

I loved the original IQ concept car but after they changed the styling it looks like a Yaris that has been squeezed. I love toyota but ever since about 2003 their styling has really sucked. That 3.5 passenger thing is a joke, just look at the pic, tell me how an adult american is going to sit in the back? maybe a young kid and a baby, and anyone with a young kid and a baby is going to worry about accidents.

It's toyota, they aren't stupid, they will have it apss the crash tests.

By that reasoning an IQ that was lifted with larger tires would be a "Raised IQ:

Or either might just be called "Stupid".
