Toyota’s dream – a car made of seaweed

Here is a concept car made of seaweed from Toyota.
I know seaweed is a bountiful resource since it grows so fast. Would you want a car made from it?

It looks really nice; for a car made of seaweed.

Well its not about the particular design its about the material. If it acts like plasic, we could have our smarts made from them.

Actually our forebearers found a use for seaweed that's not in use today.

My house, built in 1836, has seaweed in the walls as insulation.
