VW plant in Chattanooga.

...while in TN last week found out that auto maker VW is continuing ahead with a factory to build VW in the USA....some research shows nothing of the car they will build other than it will include a new sedan specifically built for the USA...anybody else has any input on what's going to be built by this plant?

I live 10 minutes south of Chattanooga and it has been huge news here. Not sure what they're going to be building but you can bet the Chattanooga Volks Folks (a local VW club) are awfully smug here lately. I don't have anything against these guys and their bugs, jettas, golfs, etc, I think they're just pissed that mine is smaller. Makes for great fun when going to meets with my friend and his bug.

I'll dig around and let you know what I find out at their next meet. There are several guys there that are going to be working there when the plant opens.
