As for the Fiat 500, in their current 'euro' form, it didnt' pass the US Crash tests, but once they produce it here I'm sure they'll have it 'beefed up' for the US market.

fpage, aren't the crash tests you showed the same US Standard 40mph frontal offset? Do I have the speed right on that? If that's how it behaves @ 40mph, there's no way the Chery would have gotten US highway approval. I could swear that's a 75% cabin intrusion and almost certain fatality. I doubt I'd ever buy a Chinese car... the entire country's reputation has been trashed by the low quality of products in general, and it's hard to sort through all that to find the few that are good.

The videos have to have a test record somewhere; do you know where that is?

I just remember seeing that awful crash on youtube and have no data behind it.
