Where is my flying car

Sorry folks, looks like we won't be getting flying cars soon. At least not from GM Ford or Toyota.

The Moller Skycar has been working on one for about 10 years. Even if they do actually put into production, the price would make it only for a few.

Not really some thing one would drive on the road.

The smart, or at least its 599cc turbo Suprex engine, has flown in the B&F FK-9.

Here is a flying car from Volante Aircraft. I am not sure I would want to be seen driving it.

Here is one from Advanced Flying Autombile.

I wonder how many will get past the drawing board stage and actually get flown.

Since several of these have 3 wheels, does that mean I would need a motorcycle licence and Pilots License?

Yet no comments on the Video....

Here is a site on flying cars called Roadable Times.
There are some truly unique vehicles to the truly bizarre. The idea of a flying car has been around for quite a while but none really practical or affordable.

Since it is an enclosed three wheeler, some states might consider it a motorcycle and some a car; depending on the state. It has been discussed (the enclosed three wheeler part) at the Cabin Scooters Group at Yahoo Groups.
