The world's best sports car show

I think having a car show at a race track is really cool.

Come down to Daytona at Thanksgiving for the Turkey Run. About 7,000 cars or come to the Spring Fling also at the speedway in March. Plan to see about 2,000 cars in the spring.

Oh man, I'd love to try that track in a 'busa smart! *drools*

Or in my mom's highly unsafe Envoy (listed as one of America's most dangerous cars )

I used to drive Kit cars, my favourite was a Westfield, and we used to have Kit Car shows at Donington racetrack, (the hopefully track that the British Grand Prix is going to be at next year).
You could bring your own car and for a fee drive on the track, or the manufacturers used to give test drives to customers if they were really interested in buying.
Here is a piccy of me in my Westy, note the video camera bolted to the rollover hoop, great pictures, but sadly won't transfer over onto the laptop as it is on VHS and is not digital, have tried to find a way of doing it but without success.

Do you still have that cool ride?
Easy just get a VHS to DVD converter!

Here's one for the PC & Mac
Roxio Easy VHS to DVD - The fastest & easiest way to create a DVD from your VCR videos

Ones that work on their own cost about as much as this guy
The VHS To DVD Converter at Hammacher Schlemmer

I am a fan of British kit cars, also. Here is a photo of my Honda powered JZR three wheeler.

Sadly, I don't, it is one of the most exciting cars I have ever driven, 0-60 in under 4 secs, stupidly quick, but the wife broke her back falling off her horse and it was too impractical, so got rid, but would have another if finances allowed, as she is all fixed now.

I bought one of those converters and it worked on my old Pc, but won't work with my laptop which runs windows vista, and it won't work going from vhs to dvd and then putting dvd in laptop, don't know why, it just won't, says wrong format disk.

Cool car man, I like the old look with the modern internals.
Have seen a test drive of the Grinnall Scorpion, which has the 2 front 1 back wheel, and he managed to get the car up on 2 wheels cornering too fast, thought it was going to flip, but he was really pushing it on the track, you would'nt ever get it to do that on the road, or would you?

My little JZR really does corner quite flat. It has modern tires and a well sorted suspension so I have not made a two wheeler out of it yet!!
