Jay Leno owns a Deusenburg (sp) that he bought from the deceased owner's family. I don't remember the specifics but it had been stored in a garage, I believe in NYC, for something like 45-50 years. I'm sure he threw a lot of money at the family and then threw a lot more at the aged hulk. How many people are able to do that? Don't mind me I'm just envious.
My favorite car? Most of the ones I used to own and would like to have again. If I had to narrow it down to just one it would have to be the 65 Austin Healey Sprite. Not at all fast, the top leaked rain into the window openings, and no ventilation to speak of, but, it really handled well on the twisties, the seating position was great and that sound !!

mr Cash, Thanks for the picture. I'm just thankful that it isn't BRG or I would think you're doing that just to irritate me.

Wow the picture of the Sprite was taken right outside my office - I walk by there frequently - wish I had been there when the car was.

AH Sprite

I had a bug eye AH Sprite - great little car. Would give my left N... for it back. Great in the foothills. Hope the smart is as much fun to drive. We took it to Disney Land in 64 with my wife and 2 young brothers cramed in the middle and struggled back over the Grape Vine to Fresno. That was a long time ago but great times.

'65 Sprite

Ahhh, Memories! My older brother and I used to restore Austins and MGs
back in the early '80s and he had a '70 sprite and a '72 Midget.
I liked driving either of his more than my own '75 MGB. You think it sounded good just going down the street, you ought to have heard one inside of the Bankhead or Wallace tunnel here in Mobile! Pure Music!!
