What a rip off, imo. Why is everything for the Smart so freaking expensive!?
The smart is low production compared to a car like a Scion. Less demand means less production meaning higher prices. Many of the after market pieces are made in Europe meaning 1. expensive int'l shipping and customs, and 2. exchange rate. Once more smarts are on the market prices for stuff will come down.
