I installed my MDC last weekend. It took me about 1 hr and 15 minutes. And it looks like it was there from the factory.

There is one connector Boris needs to explain better in the instructions, but it was quite EZ. No do-it-ourself wiring, but you do need to swap a few connectors. The hardest thing was fishing the wires from the speedo and stalk down behind the dash. Also, I had never pulled my speedo before - piece of cake.

I only got to try it briefly and this week and next will be out of town. I can say during those short road tests that it engaged, disengaged smoothly, the rpm changes to go over hills (minor ones) were minor, just enough throttle to get the job done with no lurches or major changes.

I would recommend the purchase of the remote LED, I plan to buy one, depending on cost.

The stalk matches the LH like it was original - wait, it is because it comes from Delphi in Europe that makes them for smart roadsters. The original was black and this is a gray that looks better to me than the factory one.

I haven't mastered some of the optional settings yet and part of that is because I can't see the LED, but I plan to change that.

I did notice on my Scangauge that I seemed to read a much higher MPG longer than when I use my foot to control the car. This would be true with any cruise control so I can't wait to get home and see how my avg. fuel economy is since I log every drop.
