450 tire inflator

several references to the "Slime" brand "Smart Spair" tire repair kit [see link below] posted. Has anyone actually run/used the tire inflator in the kit from their smart car cigarette lighter plug? I was told that the inflator [while 12volts] draws too many amps and will blow the fuse in the car.
Thanks

Slime Power Sport Smart Spair

Did use it a couple of times to boost a slightly low inflation, without the goo bottle on. No issue there...

You were told wrong. I've used mine quite a few times and never a problem.

Btw, another good product is Ride-On Tire Protector. I've used it for years. Much comfort to know it's there when you don't have a spare.
