Looking for Mercedes Star DAS with smart program

Hi, I'm looking for any service center with the Mercedes Star DAS computer with smart program. Trying to install OEM cruise control. I can get the device and TAN code, but need a service center to put it the code. Have not approached any of the new smart centers. The car is near LA, so LA would be best. Thanks for any assistance. Sosi at G & K didn't know of anyone. And they are not doing any smart work anymore. Rumor has it there is someone in the Sacramento area, maybe??

Green Car Co in Kirkland, WA should still have their Star Diagnosis system. But I don't know who in California may have it since few of the 450's were sold there due to CA emissions.

You could try contacting Eddy at Flying Tiger. He is in Canada however he seems to know where to get or do anything for the smart. He did my cruise TAN activation and I thought he may know someone in CA

Thanks for the suggestions. I got the car from Green Car, however, it stays in CA now. Eddy did suggest someone in Sacramento. I can get the device and TAN from Eddy and then install in Sac. Just trying to avoid the drive. I didn't realize there were emission issues with CA. There are several So. CAL 450 owners. They might know someone. Thanks again for the assist. I'll list any place that comes up.

Hi bdroth, I finally gave up on the OEM cruise control, and went with MDC. Just finishing up with the install, struggling with placement of the LED. Preliminary checks are OK so far, no road test yet. Steven of smartieparts in Canada supplied it. Instructions were great. Friends rave about theirs. (I don't get paid to talk like this). More later after LED placement and road test.
