I have a problem with my 2005 smart passion remote doors not locking . I put a new battery in the remote and i still have the problem.....any suggestions .....thanks new member paul

Sounds to me like one of your door/trunk latches isn't catching. If anyone of the four aren't latching the car won't lock. Give them all a good spray with a high quality lubricant and see if it makes a difference.

Check your back glass and make sure it is closed. Sometimes the glass is open and you do not even know it. You cannot lock the car if it is open.
If you are using the FOB and nothing is happening no sounds or hearing locking nosies then the FOB will need to be programed.
