no power

hi there
I am new here. I have a smart passion. really nice car. but in the last few days its giving me trouble. when i drive and a reach 90km/h it loses power, and i can only drive 30km/h. evan if i restart the car it has no power. i disconect the batery for a few sec and then the power is back, until i go over 90km/h

can anyone please help???

It'll help if you give us some specifics: 450 or 451, to start with...
Did you contact the Dealer?

Do you service your smart on annual basis or semi annual basis !

this might be silly but i dont know how to see if its a 450 or 451. it has 60 000 km on it, and all her serviceces has been done

450 has a three sided rear hatch window and a pair of three rear lights. Furthremore, the 450 has vertical door handles... Does it help?

Is this electrical power or engine power? That should narrow it down a little.
