Tachometer Programming?

Does anyone know how to do it? Is there a rough guide I could hand to a very eager to try certain tech at a certain place in Denver?

I believe (I researched when I first got my 450) a TAN code is needed to be programed in to the SAM unit by a dealer in order to activate it ( I may be wrong),

When I was researching trip computers, I found a comb that worked with the G&K converted Smart, this has a Tach feature in it so I stopped my search then.

You may (if a TAN code is really needed) ship the SAM to a dealer, they'll program it and send it back (of course for a fee).

You are wrong

It has nothing to do with the SAM unit, the tacho code is held in the speedo along with the paddle code and the exterior temperature sensor code.
