I'm thinking of hosting a Smart-o-ween party for DC area forum members. The initial details are:

1. Would be in a Smart-luck style (read this as Pot-luck). Alco would be fine to bring as well.

2. Would be hosted on the 28th or 29th of Oct.

3. I have to rent the party room where I live, so expect to help cover this cost (2-5$ per person/couple).

4. Come in costume (And it must be a Smart looking one at that).

5. Location is in Arlington area, for reference purposes at this stage.

If interested, post back to this list. If not enough interest to make it worthwhile, then it won't occur. (like 3 people say they are coming)

When? I'm here through 31 October and then headed south of the border... I can probably get another smart couple to join the party too!

Right now with the amount of people that have replied and expressed an interest, I'm not sure its worth it. The party room is $60 to rent out so at this point with maybe 5 couples tentatively coming, that works out to $12/couple just for the room.

I was hoping for 20-30 people/couplse so the cost would be lower.

I'll still host it if you guys are committed, no problem. I've tentatively arranged for the room on Oct 29th.
