Is this the "Bay Boy" horn? I purchased the chrome version of this horn several months ago, and still haven't opened the package. I read several DIY installation guides and realized this was, at best, a cool weather job. Cool weather is approaching and I'm becoming less optimistic that I have the aptitude to do this install myself. Poor purchase decision on my part.

Very nice of you to offer your expertize to others. Wish you were close enough to take you up on it.

P.S. Oh yeah, I also realized that paying $10 extra for chrome was pissing a ten spot away, since there's no way the horn is visible.

Anyone want to buy it from me?

Capt. Kirk, (NCC1701)

Give me a link to the horn you bought. I'll try to see if it will work.

So, hold on to that horn for now. If I can get another car to do, then I will post step-by-step pics of what you need to do. If you can change the oil in a car, you can do this mod.

I think that horn will fit so problem.

Check out the size of the horn I bought (Ultra Compact Black)

Compact Italian Air Horns - Exterior Accessories - Car Accessories - Griot's Garage

Looking at the mount point, you shouldn't have any problems if you have the bracket that I used handy when you try the install.

Maybe yellow-smart can answer you better. But, I can say the Wolo 519 is designed to be a 'plug & play' replacement, including for motorcycle horns.

NCC - bring it with you when you come over this way. I can put it on for you ( already did mine and went in through the wheel well though the front end of the car can be removed in a matter of minutes - your choice of how you'd like to do it - you'll appreciate your car more when you see how easy the front comes off. I always carry a full set of tools with me ready to tackle such a job though this one is easy)

The Wolo and the Nautilus are the same horn - Wolo is supposedly a repackage/rebadge from what I read on the package when I got mine. Had it for almost 16k miles now and use it daily to clear the road of birds (buzzards & crows) as I've nailed some before in my old Insight. Plug & Play on mine with no relay and it has worked fine.

DEAL! Any compensation (within reason) is yours. It will be great to witness the job too!

No comp needed. If you don't mind we can pull the front off as a tutorial for other club members just to show them how easy it is. I'll bring tools for you as well so you can work one side while I work the other and maybe another for someone to work the middle. My dad and I have removing the front end down to about 5 minutes (or less). I bet we can easily beat that.
