Call for a Mid-Atlantic Region subforum

We need a new subforum called Mid-Atlantic Region for Smart owners in the Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington DC area.
Please reply to this thread so the SCOA admin can create one.

Thank you .........

Small group ...

not sure what constitutes the need but (as the Mid-West group doesn't have any sub-forums at 142 members)

MD - 7

DE - 2

VA - 10

DC - 4

entire region 100, this group (north-east) would be 23% (23/100) ?

the NJ sub-forum has 19 (est) or 19%

whereas the mid-west region has 142

IL - 20

WI - 16

or 25% within just two metro areas ... doesn't appear to be any interest over there so I say go for it if you have enough interest!

23 SCOA Mid-Atlantic Smarties? I know some members never entered their state.
23 should be enough to get it started. As new members join SCOA more are sure to join the Mid-Atlantic group or Chapter.

The Smart Center in Alexandria told me that there are 75 reserved cars alone coming to that dealership this month.

Well E-Smart, in that case how about a Mid-Atlantic Chapter under the North East Region that encompasses Smart car owners from VA, MD, DE and DC.

I think "Mid-Atlantic" as described should be a stand-alone region located between, but not part of, NE and So.

I'm not sure why anyone in the Mid-West should be concerned with the Mid-Atlantic.

I'm for it! There should be enough Smarts in the area for our own region.

I agree it should be its own region, but if the mods won't do that, at least create a subforum.

I encouraged if you want it, go for it ... why would YOU want to post in other region forums as well if I took your attitude (which I see you've posted in the MW region) ... general interest in how these sub's get formed is all I'm looking at ... bottom line M-W (current # of members) is larger yet has no sub's, N-E has less yet and has a sub' for just NJ ... doesn't seem to make any sense but it's there!

The best reason for a sub' region is to share info' on regional events, etc. so I would think as many people adding to this thread will count towards the mod's getting it done so indirectly I'm helping your cause!!!
