I thought I heard about a bunch of smartcar owners getting together last December for dinner and then a ride thru Va Beach's Christmas lights, any truth to this and will it be repeated this year? I'd like to try to set one up for the Newport News Celebration in Lights if anyone has pointers on how-to.
we talked about it at the October meet in hampton last year. then i posted it in November. it is best to give 3 week or more post before event. we took a head count prior to and made reservations and had everyone bring toys to donate for the toys for tots and a Marine picked up from us before dinner. After dinner we drove down to the beach and drove the boardwalk light show. the whole evening was a lot of fun.
