OK, Here it is! I have talked with the director for the Alexandria, Virginia George Washington's Day Parade. The Parade will be on Monday, 18 February from 1 - 3 PM. He would like to have us join the parade this year. There will be a limit of 20 vehicles. I will post additional information on this site in the near future.

Anyone interested???

I'll need details of who will be coming before 1 January 2009 so I can provide the info to the parade commitee. There are secuirity and identification issues that will be discussed as the time draws near.

After the parade, we will try to meet for lunch.

Monday would be February the 16th not the 18th.

Dinner would be better than lunch at that time of day.

Sorry folks, but I've been tied up most of the month with other things.

I don't see much interest in the February meet for the Washington's day parade. I guess it might be too far in the future to do this planning.

I do know that the Alexandria Smart Center is scheduled to be there. But I thought it would be cool to enter the parade as a group.

Any further interest before they close the registration?
