February Meet/Parade

HI, I've been having a problem with my pc and haven';t been able to get up and running for the last two weeks but I haven't given up as yet.

As of today, I still haven't hear from them. I'll put you both down ( Crystal Moon & Jose 3030) I still had room for two more.

I'll try to call them since I can't seem to get an answer otherwise.

I'll keep you all posted.

We'll still meet even if we can't get into the parade. I'll give all the details in plenty of time for you to make plans.

oooh! I love a parade (zippy and I have one 2 so far). You gouys are going to have so much fun. I would say WAY more fun the high school band parades.

Hope you can get somebody to make a cool video for you like this one.

SWEET!!! I can't wait unitl that day. I really hope that the media catches wind of that parade. I told everybody at work about this event, and now i can be in this thing.

Please post a meeting location and time. Also, what time is the parade scheduled to start.

The Parade starts at 1 PM sharp. it will last until 3 PM. I don't know where we will be in the parade until they send me the full schedule.

We may need to be in position before 12 Noon.

Meet at Belle Haven Park which is 1 mile south of Alexandria on the George Washington Parkway (S. Washington Street extended) The park is on the river side of the parkway (left if you are going south)

Directions to Belle Haven Park:

From South:

I-95 North to exit 177 (local lanes). Take the Alexandria ramp to first light. Turn right. Go to first light (S. Washington Street).
Turn Right. Go about 1 mile to the park (on your left).

From North:

I-95 South. Cross Woodrow Wilson Bridge to exit 1-E.
Go to light. Turn right (Mount Vernon) and go about 1 mile to the park (on your left).

Meet time is 11 AM so that you can get vehicle pass, take pictures, discuss parade route, rules, etc before going to the assembly area.


After the parade, we can have lunch/dinner at the Royal Resturant, 734 N. Saint Asaph street, Alexandria. (Corner of Madison & N. St. Asaph St.)

Price range:
Salads: $ 8.00
Sandwiches $ 7.00
Dinners $11.00 - $17.00

We have a room reserved under Smart Car.
