Hampton Roads Cruise In

Looking forward to future Hampton Roads smart Cruise In's I think that some ideas should be kicked around to see what interest there is in future events.

My idea is as follows:

Each month starting August 2008 every Saturday at 5:00pm a cruise in at any of the designated / decided upon following places:

1) Doumar's
Doumar's Cones & Barbecue _ Norfolk, Virginia

2) Jenro's

3) Sonic
SONIC — America's Drive-In!

I don't know about Williamsburg but I'm sure there are nice places to cruise in there too. What is your idea or opinion?

i think jenro's is good..big parking lot and its an established gathering of car people with alot of great cars..a smart section would generate alot of smart interest..

After doing some more looking around for an 'eat in' style of establishment here in Hampton I came across this place and it looks to be very nice, reasonably priced and excellent access from Interstate 64.

McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon

Should I find something else interesting I'll post it.

I like either McFadden's or Joe's crab shack. I think they're in a great location. I've called both and they'll take reservations. I think it is best to have a separate thread for the meet, people may get confussed if we have more than one event in a thread. I also like the idea of doing a cruise-in. So let's keep this thread for the cruise-in, OK?

I didn't see a difference between the two myself. Get together, meet, cruise-in, etc... all ment the same to me but however you wish to thread title is fine by me.
