ok as always we are easy, you should have been with me over the weekend
ok,
this might be long but here is some data from my 1200 mile trip in two days. Norfolk to near Atlanta and back.
First my core driver slept for 6 hours after working over night, so I didnt have the top open while driving. Something that I do ALWAYS
We filled up and jumped on I664, turned onto hwy 58 to I85, ave 60 mph for the first 2 hours. Then when we turned onto 85 south the scangauge was clicking up mpg a little better, now driving at speeds about 70 until the gas gas was blicking to 1/2 gal left. Pulled off and filled up. For those that have scangauge It matched my intake perfect at 7.6 gal. The screen showed 46.5 mpg, 353 miles, topspeed of 81, ave speed of 66.
I would say I was shocked, My car now has 7500 miles
So I once again jumped on 85 south still about 210 miles to go. My goal was ave 70 for the next 210 miles... with that the mpg dropped to 45.0
and after pulling off and driving to gainsville, the mpg was cripping up some but the ave speed dropped to 60 after hitting some lights and a mild speed speed limit.
on the return trip I was driving alone not that my sleeper was any help the day before.
So I got the top open and radio crackin and rocking down the highway didnt not care about gas intack but did manage 44.4
I have test the top speed and yes my scan gauge was reading 91 and was the strip of road I took the test on great.....
all and all I could have done the trip again today. but I do have a job
did not see any other smart the whole way, got my picture taken a few times by other people.
