I would LOVE to take the ferry with a bunch of smarties, but I'll be in North Myrtle Beach Memorial Weekend.

First of all, I did not realize when I suggested this date that it was Memorial Day Weekend (it is early this year) so we may not be getting as much interest in this as I had hoped.

- We will meet at Starbucks at 1 pm. The address is:

This is on Route 60 near Busch Gardens

- We will leave Starbucks after we have had a chance to buy our caffeine jolt of choice and enter the Colonial Parkway at the Cheatum Annex and we will drive to Jamestowne. We will stop in a parking lot of Jamestown Settlement - this is to make sure we will be able to all get on the ferry together.
- After we get off the ferry we will go to College Run Farms to pick strawberries.
- Everyone is on their own after that.

If it is a rainy day like today, the trip is cancelled. If that happens, I will try it again later in the summer or fall.

I can't wait to take pictures of the Smarts on the ferry!!!

skyvue, I was supposed to go to NYC with friends but it looks like the trip might be cancelled due to one person's illness. I love the idea of ferry crossing and strawberries picking (never done either one ). I will let you know Friday evening.

The ferry is free! I don't know if the farm accepts charges. Last time I went the quarts were 3 or 4 dollars and a big tray was around $15.

I should be able to get down to Starbucks for the coffee (5-10 minutes away from Counselors' Close), but have too full an afternoon to go Southside.
