Mid-Atlantic Chapter Hoodies?

Would those of us who count ourselves in the Mid-Atlantic region be interested in ordering hooded sweatshirts with "SMART Mid-Atlantic Chapter" and a picture of a smart car on the left breast side?

This website: cafepress.com, offers custom made hoodies, in black, navy or white. We would just need to design the logo (I could do it) and have it printed. The cost looks to start at $40 but may decrease if we have a certain number. Please let me know via this poll (by March 15) if you might be interested and I'll contact cafe press with numbers to get a better idea of the cost.

NOTE: My recommendation would be, if you vote for the navy or black hoodies, that the lettering would be white, and if you want the white, the lettering would be black. I think we should go with a red smart, since that would show up on whatever color is preferred. For the sake of getting a better price, whichever color hoodie gets the most votes would be the color we get, and you are not obligated to purchase one just by voting.

POLL:
Yes, interested in black
Yes, interested in navy
Yes, interested in white
No, not interested

Question.....how well will the red show up on the navy/black?

Might it be possible for each person to get their own car color? If this is a major issue.....just drop it.

Could we get our 'name' on the hoodie below the car??

Just some thoughts.

BTW Our vote is for 2.

When I see the poll numbers and get a sense for how many people are interested I'll check on specifics, like getting a different car color, or ordering different colored jackets. It may just be if everyone wants to pay top price they could order their own car color and name and we could have one standard line of text. Right now I'm just checking to see if would be worthwhile - everyone seemed to like the custom jackets nmcl714 and geenasmom were wearing at the parade and it got me thinking...

I like the idea. When I worked with Cafepress you had to present artwork for whatever it was you wanted on. So unless somethings changed, that would mean putting the artworks with each color.

But I used them like 8 yrs ago.

I'd go with any colors.

FWIW, there're a few people who *aren't* in the Mid-Atlantic that would probably be interested in getting regional swag from across the country and around thw world...

I'm sure there are lots of people who may want additional clothing (and cheaper) than what's currently offered by Smart, but I volunteered to do this for the mid-Atlantic chapter since two of our members got jackets printed on their own and some of us commented on how nice they were at the last meet (in February). I would be happy, once I go through this process, to offer information to anyone else from any other chapter who might want to do this for their own chapter, but at this time I don't think I can handle coordinating multiple designs and collecting payments from a larger group. Eesh, I'm getting anxious just thinking about it!

And when not driving your smart they'd come in handy for knocking over the occasional gas station or 7-11.
