I'm going to try to show up... although I will still be smartless (although I am a rolling -4 on the DDE, so it is theorized that Scooter has been born and is awaiting delivery to the states). Hopefully by the next meet it'll be here!

Can your dealer give you the VIN? If so, you can track it across the ocean, and see the expectid date in Baltimore..

As of earlier this week, they didn't have the VIN.

It falls in line with the situation everyone else has hit though (-4 on the dde rolling = car is built and getting on the ship).

One of the reps at my dealer replied to an email that he would keep an eye out for my name coming across the paperwork and let me know - but I know they are very busy. I don't want to be a pest, but I want to know this information if it exists. I may end up rolling by there later on today to stop in and look/ask.

I do hope that you are able to find out about the status of your Smart soon. As they say, the waiting is the hardest part. BTW Scooter is a really good name for your Smart.

Have to take back my RSVP... just found out my brother is coming to visit that weekend. All 3 of us can't come in the Smart although he said he thought he could ride in the "trunk" (He's 6"4" so I doubt it).
