I'll be out of town for a few weeks so if you do anything....keep us posted.

With this in mind, I've scouted the "Air Force Memorial" (the three spires beside the Pentagon, visible all around DC) parking lot last Sunday (pics upon PM request). During the weekend, it's open to the public, at least the lower section (below the post 9/11 radar tower). Access to the Memorial Bridge is easy. And from there, anything goes... but for clearance(s).

I've toyed with the idea of parking on the landing of the steps of the Lincoln Memorial (picture with a long lens camera from the top of the Washington Monument).
I will contact the NPS and DC Film Commission, but not this Fall.
Because, by next Spring, we'll have many more cars, to try to fill the space between the steps and the Reflecting Pool. At least 100 cars. Maybe more than 133 (hint hint!).

So...any volunteers to organize a Meet & Greet for this next month? Any takers for September???? Actually we ought to start a new thread. I think I'll do that right now.

The Lincon memorial sounds like a very good place to meet, and just to make it more memorable we should meet up for an early meal in the outsktirts of DC and then cruise around the city a little then got to the Lincon memorial. Now that my mind is going on this, I shall go with Gotta have a Smart and add to the thread
