The the offer for Point of Rocks is still open. We can use the facility for free. We have a big parking lot, lots of grass so we could setup a volleyball or even softball game in one of the fields. We have a BBQ and a large indoor seating area so people can eat without the bugs. We can work on cars and or share modification how to information. I posted a poll so let me know and we can arrange it.

There is no point for you to get all worked up over something so silly and you already said you won't be there in May. The majority will go always wherever they feel like going...no argument here.

Sounds like Dink's suggestion is the next up for comment.

I'm not much for driving in loads of traffic so Annapolis / Bay area on the first official weekend of the summer sounds scary to me. Besides, lets do Sandy Point when GeenasMom and hubby can be there - they are always so dedicated in coming down to VA when we've had them here!

BTW you're wise to want to avoid Rt 50 on the first weekend of summer, it'll be wall to wall cars headed for the beach.

You are so right. I generally avoid that area myself in the early part of summer for that reason. I do like the idea of Sandy point, but at a later date say in August? Just an idea for that date.
