My wife and I planned to attend...but she just recieved orders to the Persian Gulf...AGAIN! She leaves October 23 for a 9 month rotation

I told her I will not go solo...something like this is for the both of us! To meet the other Smarties!

I miss you guys. However, I'm not going to be able to make it. I'm pretty sure I'll still be playing nurse that weekend. And I actually was up there a few weeks ago. I would like to go back before it gets too cold, but more for hiking than driving. I will let you guys know if I can make it.

The wife and I would love to make it but we have to figure when we'd have to leave Hampton, Va. That's definitely an all day trip for us

I'm sure he has done the math. Map Quest doesn't factor in the ole traffic issues that we have.

VA Beach to Front Royal 4 hours via Map Quest. Reality is 5 hours. I done it several times, on my bike, in my car, in my jeep.

Bch Smart, Thanks for sticking up for us. I don't use mapquest, not versatile enough for me. I use "Streets & Trips". We'll probably meet at the Front Royal entrance and travel as far as I-64 and drive through C'town back to Hampton.
