smarts galore in Bethesda

This morning I got up and went to my smart dealer in Germantown to drive one again and see if I could find out anything about my production date. After a quick drive in a cabrio (my first time being in a cabrio... quite nice, but not for me), and getting a few questions answered, I headed to Bethesda to meet a friend for a late lunch/some cocktails.

While we were sitting outside eating in Bethesda on Woodmont, it was like a smart explosion.

• 1 Red/Silver cabriolet drove by.
• 1 Black/White Cabriolet drove by. I think this may have even been one that was being delivered while I was at my dealer - the driver looked the same.
• 1 Yellow/Black Passion coupe drove by.
• 1 White/Black Pure coupe parallel parked across the street from us... it drew a ton of stares.

This was over a 1:30 long period... not too bad.

It's amazing how many are around the area. I drove to NYC and saw a total of ONE

Drove to Cleveland last weekend and saw NONE.

She held up great on the road, and I'm finally getting expected gas mileage (42 range)

driving around the Southwestern TC Metro, I've seen 4. Driving from here to Denver, and all the time IN Denver... and all the way back... 0.

My mom called me all excited the other day because she saw her first one back in Ohio.

I want to find out who has the bumblebee that keeps blowing me off of the beltway in the afternoons. I usually get on 495 at MD 355 heading east/north at about 7 PM... 3 or 4 times now I have been passed by a bumblebee passion doing 65+ around the curve as I am merging... go little smart
