One thing to note is that the trucks that deliver smarts to scVAB make other stops, not just VAB. They drop some to the WashDC dealers, and I think the NC ones too. Could be that coordinating the various dealer drops adds time.

This is true- the weather has not been the best this past week... Just very frusterating to sit at home and see the DDE move out further and further, and call Gary and he confirms "not yet"... (I am going to have to cater them a nice lunch for as much as I have driven them nuts... LOL)

Maybe, maybe... it's that "they" wait to have a full truck load for VA Beach. "They" may make sure "they" have a full truck for one, maximum two destinations, before loading it?

Of course, VA Beach is not to blame for any of this. If I remember correctly, it's a Contractor that does the post-transport check and dispatching out of Dundalk. The Contractor doesn't know, or doesn't care about any car's specifics.
Just trying to make you feel a bit better in this ordeal.
